Portrait of Wolf - Oil on Watercolor Paper, 8 x 8 Inches

This painting was done “alla prima”, meaning all in one session, from a photo of my nephew. His beautiful little mouth drew me to the image and I was surprised to find so many subtle warm colors in the shadows on his face as he was lit somewhat from behind.
